US pension commits $150m to funds managed by Gaw Capital, Angelo Gordon

The State of Wisconsin Retirement Board (SWIB) has approved an aggregate of $150 million in commitments to funds managed by Hong Kong-based private equity investor Gaw Capital and US alternative investment firm Angelo Gordon.

During the regular meeting of its board of trustees, SWIB announced that it committed $50 million each to Gateway Real Estate Fund VII and Gateway VII Co-Investment Account, both managed by Gaw Capital.
