<h3>Venture Catalysts backs CleanseCar</h3>
<p><strong><a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=CleanseCar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CleanseCar</a></strong>, a car wash services provider, has raised Rs 3.5 crore in an angel round from prominent investors from <strong><a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Venture Catalysts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Venture Catalysts</a></strong> network including Omphalos Venture India LLP, Rishabh Mahimtura, Anil Patel, Vishal Brambhatt and others, according to an announcement.</p>
<p>Founded by Kalyandhar Vinukonda, CleanseCar is currently operational in Bangalore and Chennai, and going ahead aims to roll out its services in other cities of South India. Apart from the daily car wash service, CleanseCar also offers other automotive care solutions such as interior vacuum cleaning, dashboard and console cleaning and shine, interior detailing and rim dressing.</p>
<p>&#8220;With the initial seed round, we grew 100X and from 200 cars, we were able to start servicing 2000+ cars. We are certain that with this round of funding and the key strategic guidance and mentorship of VCats, we will be able to start servicing over 20,000 cars daily,&#8221; Vinukonda said.</p>
<h3>Hoi Foods raises $500k pre-Series A</h3>
<p>Gurgaon-based<strong> <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Hoi Foods" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hoi Foods</a></strong> on Wednesday announced that it has raised $500,000 in a pre-Series A round of funding led by <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=1Crowd" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>1Crowd</strong> </a>and its investor community.</p>
<p>The recent round of funding also saw the participation of other investors including Gemba Capital and Prime Holdings. The company plans to utilise funds for geographical expansion and building a more integrated food solution in the backend, it said in a statement.</p>
<p>The startup was founded in 2017 by Indrajeet Roy, with seed funding from Sanjiv Mediratta, a food &amp; beverage expert, Sandeep Kohli, former MD Yum Foods Asia Pacific and Pawan Raj Kumar, founder, Supa Star Foods and an active angel investor. Mediratta and Kumar will join the startup&#8217;s board.</p>
<p>Hoi Foods currently has Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes on their menu and covers a range of desserts and drinks as well. Currently, the company is based out of Delhi/NCR and plans to expand to other cities soon.</p>
