Vietnam-based VinaCapital plans $100m PE deployment in H1 2022

Ho Chi Minh City-based asset manager VinaCapital is evaluating several opportunities worth a combined $125 million, and expects to close $100 million of investments by June this year, according to a top executive of the firm.

Andy Ho, chief investment officer at VinaCapital, told DealStreetAsia in a recent interview that the investor has closed two PIPE transactions with a total value of $128 million. This is part of a $300 million private equity pipeline the firm announced last October.
