Vietnam: State divests 52.4% in Kim Lien Tourism; ACV stake generates investor interest

There seems to be a growing interest amongst private investors to invest in strategic stakes in major state-owned firms. A single investor  purchased the entire holding of the state (52.4 per cent) in Kim Lien Tourism JSC, through a public auction, spending over VND1 trillion ($44.4 million). Meanwhile, several Vietnamese and foreign firms have submitted proposals to buy equity in the Airports Corporation of Vietnam.
