VN Dealbook: HanesBrands ups investment in Vietnam to $55m; Da Nang Housing seeks to raise foreign holding to 70%

Vietnam is attracting increasing interest from global apparel groups even as the country is on course to be part of  the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). US-based HanesBrands has it will take its total investment level in the country to $55 million to expand its apparel business. Meanwhile, the Da Nang Housing Development JSC has decided to raise the room for foreign investors to 70 per cent following to the removal of the 49 per cent limit fixed earlier.
