Vietnamese unicorn VNG said to hire advisors for SPAC: Report

Vietnam’s technology major VNG is said to be eyeing a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) at a valuation of about $2-3 billion, according to a Bloomberg report.

The report stated that the Vietnamese unicorn is “working with financial advisers to hold discussions” with SPACs. It added that even as discussions are ongoing, VNG could pursue other funding options in addition to merging with a shell company.
