Earned Wage Access platform wagely secures $8.3m funding led by East Ventures

Indonesia-based earned wage access (EWA) platform wagely has raised pre-series A funding of $8.3 million led by East Ventures (Growth Fund), the startup announced on Wednesday.

The oversubscribed round also saw the participation of existing investors Integra Partners, the Asian Development Bank, Global Founders Capital, Trihill Capital, Blauwpark Partners, and 1982 Ventures. wagely also disclosed that it secured the backing of Central Capital Ventura, the VC arm of Indonesia’s largest private bank Bank Central Asia (BCA).
