Israeli simulation and remediation platform XM Cyber has raised a $22-million Series A funding from Macquarie Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Our Innovation Fund, LP and UST Global, among others.
This latest round has brought the company’s total funding to $32 million, following a previous seed round from Swarth Group.
XM Cyber said, it will use the investment to accelerate sales, marketing and engineering programmes. It will also work with UST Global’s security services subsidiary CyberProof in a strategic sales and integration agreement.
XM Cyber provides automated APT simulation platform to continuously expose attack vectors. Its customer base includes financial institutions and infrastructure organisations across North America, Europe, Israel and Australia.

According to the firm, hackers can infiltrate the network in a wide variety of ways to compromise critical assets, even when an organisation has deployed and configured modern security controls. XM Cyber’s solution leverages a multitude of offensive methods to rapidly expose the most critical blind spots and uncover hidden attack vectors, then provides data-driven remediation focused on the organisation&#8217;s critical assets.
