Startups Zapty, Live History India, Elize and RemitGuru have secured investments.
<h3>IdeaSpring invests $500k in Zapty</h3>
Early-stage venture fund <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/ideaspring" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">IdeaSpring Capital</a> has invested $500,000 in workflow process management startup Zapty, according to a report in The Economic Times
This deal marks Patni brothers-backed IdeaSprings&#8217; fourth investment.
Prior to this investment, the US-based startup was bootstrapped by founders Arvind Agarwal and Sanjay Shah with initial capital from angel investor Manav Garg. The startup&#8217;s SaaS platform for cloud-based work management lets vertical teams and departments use Zapty&#8217;s proprietary micro work flow technology to work independently and collaborate real-time. The company claims to have 1,000 customers across the US, India and Europe.
<h3>Ganesh Natarajan&#8217;s 5F World backs Live History India</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/5f-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">5F World</a> startup platform has invested an undisclosed amount of funding in digital content platform Live History India, which has been started by journalist Mini Menon along with Akshay Chavan, as per a report in The Economic Times.
5F World is an investment platform founded by former Zensar CEO Ganesh Natarajan and Cyrus Guzder, former promoter of AFL. Natarajan has so far invested through 5F World in startups such as digital learning platform Skills Alpha and Studio Coppre, a platform supporting copper artisans.He also recently invested in Zeve Capsol, the company that operates the 1Crowd platform in his personal capacity.
The Live History India platform will showcase historical facts through videos and content contributed by historians across the country and by the startup&#8217;s 20-member team.

<h3>Sanitary napkins maker Elize raises seed funding</h3>
Sanitary napkins maker Elize has raised an undisclosed amount of seed investment from angel investors including Sunil Kalra, Arun Venkatachalam from Murugappa Group, Startup Buddy Ventures and senior Arthur D Little members Adnan Merhaba, Viditha Kanakamedala and Rohit Sethi, said a report in The Economic Times.
“The funding will help strengthen product line, create a strong brand presence and grow active customer base,“ said Tanvi Johri, CEO of Elize, which started operations in January this year.
Elize offers premium sanitary napkins through a subscription-based service.
<h3 class="article-dateline">Infibeam to invest $468k in RemitGuru</h3>
E-commerce firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/infibeam" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Infibeam Incorporation Ltd</a> has agreed to invest Rs 3 crore ($468,000) in global digital remittance solutions platform RemitGuru &#8211; Avenues Payments India Pvt Ltd as an anchor investor.
&#8220;As a part of this investment transaction, Infibeam and CC Avenue will invest Rs. 3 crore in RemitGuru wherein Infibeam will invest Rs. 2 crore,&#8221; Infibeam said in a statement. The deal would be a cash deal transaction helping Infibeam to increase cross-border e-commerce business transactions with cash-free modes through fintech solutions.
CC Avenue already holds 26.76 per cent stake in RemitGuru. &#8220;This partial acquisition would not fall within related party transactions and no governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the same,&#8221; it said.
