Grab-and-go speciality coffee brand First Coffee has raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series A funding round, while travel startup Atravelq has secured fresh funding at an equity valuation of $1.04 million (Rs 10 crore).
DG Daiwa invests in First Coffee
Grab-and-go speciality coffee brand First Coffee has raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Japanese venture capital firm DG Daiwa Ventures (DGDV).
The round also saw participation from BEENEXT, Genesis Luxury co-founder and MD Sanjay Kapoor, BI Group chairman Shashank Bhagat and other angel investors, the company said in a statement.
First Coffee will use the fresh capital to expand its store network, build out its corporate team, invest in marketing and develop its product portfolio. With the latest round, the startup has raised $2.5 million in total funding to date.
Founded by Sohrab Sitaram and Shiv Dhawan in 2024, First Coffee currently operates 25 stores across Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. The company plans to expand into Tier 2 cities as it looks to grow its store network and customer base.
Atravelq raises fresh funding
Atravelq, a Chandigarh-based travel company focused on personalised international travel, has secured fresh funding at an equity valuation of $1.04 million (Rs 10 crore), it announced on Wednesday.
The investment saw participation from its seed investors and founding stakeholders.
The capital will support the company’s next phase of growth through investments in technology and enhanced customer experience, said Atravelq in a statement.
Atravelq offers holiday packages, visa assistance, flights, hotels, transfers and concierge services across more than 180 destinations, including Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and New Zealand. The company also operates an office in the UAE to support its international business.
