India Deal Review: Q2 2022

Fundraising by Indian startups dropped almost 38% sequentially in Q2 to $7.6 billion, from $12 billion in Q1 2022. At 383, the deal volume was also the lowest since Q3 2021. Average deal size and the number of megadeals also witnessed sharp falls. This suggests that the startup winter is truly upon us, and experts predict it will last for at least a year.
