Startups in the region raised $13.05 billion, a decline of 2% from the $13.36 raised in September 2021. China and Southeast Asia clocked a drop in deal value by 6.1% and 43% respectively, while deal value in India grew by 37%.

Deal value in China fell to $6.8 billion in October 2021, a 6.1% decline from $7.2 billion in September.

Deal value in Southeast Asia fell to $1.6 billion in October, a 43% decline from about $2.8 billion in September.
