Dealmaking in April was a mixed bag, with startups in Asia raising $7.59 billion, a decline of 25.2% from $10.16 billion raised in March. This was the result of a significant decline in dealmaking in China and India, at 41.9% and 27.5% respectively. However, dealmaking in Southeast Asia was up by 36%.
