Malaysian event venue booking startup VMO Rocks Sdn Bhd is aiming to expand its services to major cities in the country after securing an undisclosed amount in funding from regional food and beverage firm Rhombus Food Holding.
VMO’s portal www.vmo.rocks allows people to book event venues and services for free. The startup claims to have booked close to $169,154 worth of events, with an average of over $966 per booking, over a 15-month period since May 2015.
