WeWork India, a joint venture between US-based co-working space provider WeWork and Embassy Group, is in talks to raise up to $200 million, which could earn it the ‘unicorn’ tag with a possible $1 billion valuation.
According to a source-based report in Times of India, the Indian arm of the co-working space giant WeWork is in talks with global investment giants like Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus, among others for the fundraise. GIC of Singapore is also seen as another contender that has shown interest in the deal.
