A great time for VCs to pick up startups at lower valuations, says Accelerating Asia's Naidoo

Singapore-based early-stage venture capital (VC) firm Accelerating Asia has seen a 400% jump in applications between the first and sixth cohort of its accelerator programme, Amra Naidoo, co-founder and general partner of Accelerating Asia, told DealStreetAsia in an exclusive interview while declining to quote the actual numbers.

Set up in July 2018, its accelerator programme has graduated 54 portfolio companies across six cohorts. The first cohort was held in June 2019 while the sixth one kicked off in May.
