Airwallex, a Melbourne-based global payments unicorn, has announced raising $100 million more in its Series E extension funding round at the same valuation of $5.5 billion.
The funding round was backed by existing investors Square Peg, Salesforce Ventures, Sequoia Capital China, Lone Pine Capital, Hermitage Capital, 1835i Ventures and Tencent.
