Alibaba backs Israeli startup Nexar's $30m funding round

Israeli smart dashcam developer Nexar has completed a $30 million financing round backed by Alibaba Innovation Ventures, US-based Nationwide Insurance, and several other investors, the startup’s co-founder and CEO Eran Shir announced online.

The Series B funding, which was also participated by previous investors Aleph, Mosaic Ventures, Slow Ventures, True Ventures, and Tusk Ventures, will fast track the company’s vision of building the world’s largest, AI-powered, safe driving network, Shir added.
