Amazon has roped in former Google executive Chetan Krishnaswamy to head public policy in India as it seeks to assuage concerns about alleged anti-competitive practices in the country, according to people aware of the development.
The public policy team at Amazon, according to the company, “enhances [its] advocacy before policymakers at all levels of government.”
