Big corporations and startups have begun to put sustainability at the core of their practices, including APRIL Group with its new $2.33 billion paperboard production facility. Meanwhile, New Energy Nexus has announced funding for four early-stage clean energy startups in Indonesia.

APRIL Group’s $2.3b paperboard production mill

Asia Pacific Resources International Ltd (APRIL Group), a pulp and paper maker, began the construction of a 33.4 trillion rupiah ($2.33 billion) sustainable paperboard production facility on Tuesday in the Indonesian island of Sumatra, the company said in a statement.
