Sequoia, Brisbane Angels, others invest in FunCaptcha's $1m series A round

FunCaptcha, an Australian cyber security startup, has closed a $1 million pre-Series A funding round led by investor Leon Brummer with follow-on financing from Sequoia Financial Group, Brisbane Angels and existing investors.

Founded in 2013, FunCaptcha is the only managed CAPTCHA service or “Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart”. It’s a program meant to distinguish humans from automated attacks.
