Asset manager BlackRock Inc’s real estate unit has put Singapore’s Asia Square’s Tower 1 up for sale, executives familiar with the development said. BlackRock is looking at $3 billion – equivalent to about around S$3,200 per square foot of net lettable area –  for this 43-storey tower that counts Citigroup, Google and PE firm KKR, among others as its tenants.

This is also set to be Singapore’s biggest realty deal in the commercial office space this year.
