CDIB leads $10m round for Taiwan image-recognition startup Viscovery

Taiwan’s cloud-based image and video-recognition technology startup Viscovery has secured $10 million in investments in a financing round that was led by China Development Industrial Bank (CDIB) among other investors.

The investment will help the company accelerate its growth of global video data analysis and the contextual advertising market as well as recruit top talents of artificial intelligence around the world, Viscovery said in a statement while announcing the funding.
