Chinese corporate training service provider Yunxuetang has secured $190 million in a Series E round across two tranches of funding to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and software product innovation.
Tencent backed the firm’s Series E1 round, which was completed in late January at over $100 million. Its recently closed Series E2 round was led by Matrix Partners China, with participation from Sequoia Capital China and Beijing-based Hundreds Capital, said Index Capital, the exclusive financial adviser of the deal, in a WeChat post.
