Self-driving startup JingChi names co-founder, ex-Baidu scientist Tony Han as CEO

Chinese autonomous driving startup JingChi has announced the appointment of co-founder and former Baidu’s Autonomous Driving Unit executive Tony Han as its chief executive officer.

The appointment of JingChi’s new CEO comes days after China’s largest online search engine operator Baidu dropped its lawsuit against JingChi over alleged theft of technology secrets by former Baidu driverless car chief Wang Jing who had co-founded startup in 2017.
