India's fintech startup CRED is now worth $6.4b after fresh raise of $140m

In its fourth funding round in less than two years, CRED has touched a valuation of $6.4 billion after having raised $140 million in fresh financing on Thursday, despite souring investor sentiment on Indian startups.

CRED’s Series F funding round was led by GIC of Singapore, joining existing investors Sofina, Tiger Global, FalconEdge and Dragoneer.
