DCL forays into USD fund offering as China's distressed asset opportunities expand

China’s DCL Investments is in the market raising its maiden US dollar fund as the appetite for distressed investment opportunities in the world’s second-largest economy is growing among both domestic and international investors.

Beijing-headquartered DCL, which largely serves limited partners investing in Chinese yuan, started preparing for the USD Fund I in 2019 and held the first close of the vehicle in 2020.
