Fenox and East Ventures have previously invested in Talenta, while Skystar is a new investor.</article>

Fenox and East Ventures have previously invested in Talenta, while Skystar is a new investor.

The talent platform has reportedly raised a sum of $1 million in the new round. The company will use the funds to spruce up its marketing efforts and to expand its team.
Talenta is a cloud-based Software as a Service that aims to help small and medium businesses manage their HR processes such as employee attendance, leave requests, overtime and payroll. It is targeting to serve more than 10,000 companies in five years, or serve an employee base of 200,000.
Currently, it serves 15,000 employees every month for hundreds of companies like <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.hm.com/us/" target="_blank">H&amp;M</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.panorama-group.com/" target="_blank">Panorama</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.mayapadagroup.com/" target="_blank">Mayapada Property</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.topas.tv/" target="_blank">Topas TV</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://swa.co.id/" target="_blank">SWA Magazine</a> and <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.grab.com" target="_blank">Grab</a>.
The Jakarta-based company was one of the 24 startups selected to participate in <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://developers.google.com/startups/accelerator/" target="_blank">Google’s Launchpad Accelerator</a>, that exclusively works with late-stage tech startups in emerging markets &#8211; Brazil, Indonesia, India and Mexico. Six startups from Indonesia, including Talenta, qualified for the programme.
In April, East Ventures also invested an undisclosed amount in another Indonesia-based human resource Software-as-a-Service company <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.rekruta.com/" target="_blank">Rekruta</a> which helps companies plan and track their hiring process with its online dashboard.

East Ventures &#8211; which has offices in Jakarta, Tokyo, and San Fransisco &#8211; has invested in over 150 companies across Asia and the US. The VC firm bets on  e-commerce, social, game, SAAS, and mobile services.
East Ventures is active in Southeast Asia, Japan, and US, investing in consumer internet, mobile and SaaS startups. Its investments range between $100,000 and $500,000.
Meanwhile, Skystar Capital invests in technology startups in the Asia Pacific region, particularly Indonesia, at the early and growth stages. It targets companies in the Internet, mobile, education, media, financial, and eCommerce sectors.
