Logistics real estate platform ESR Cayman Limited has made the initial close for its Japan Income Fund (JIF) after securing $750 million in equity commitments.
JIF has received a sponsor and cornerstone commitment from a leading Asian sovereign wealth fund. The other three commitments came from existing investors and a new backer, it said in a statement.
