<h3><strong>FiscalNote seals acquisition in Singapore</strong></h3>
<p>Washington-headquartered software unicorn FiscalNote has acquired Singapore-based Equilibrium, which provides software to help companies meet their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and climate management goals.</p></article>

<p>US-based software firm FiscalNote has acquired Singapore-headquartered Equilibrium, while corporate services provider Tricor has signed an agreement to buy PT ASA Indonesia.</p>
<h3><strong>FiscalNote seals acquisition in Singapore</strong></h3>
<p>Washington-headquartered software unicorn FiscalNote has acquired Singapore-based Equilibrium, which provides software to help companies meet their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and climate management goals.</p>
<p>The deal follows a series of acquisitions announced by FiscalNote this year and is expected to strengthen the firm&#8217;s expertise in the area of ESG. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.</p>
<p>Using Equilibrium&#8217;s software, companies can automate their carbon footprint and sustainability metrics, create full sustainability reports and measure performance against internationally recognised goals and benchmarks.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve seen incredible demand for our data-driven ESG solutions over the last six months. Joining forces with FiscalNote brings a unique opportunity to supercharge enterprise ESG transformation, combining FiscalNote&#8217;s regulatory and policy data and analysis with Equilibrium&#8217;s analytics, insights and reporting software,&#8221; said Equilibrium founder and CEO <span class="xn-person">Meehan</span>.</p>
<p>Founded in 2013 by Timothy Hwang, Gerald Yao, and Jonathan Chen, FiscalNote specialises in software for policymakers and regulators, among others. It is weighing an IPO after raising fresh capital at a $1.4 billion valuation, according to Bloomberg. It had raised $40 million from investors including Clearvision Ventures, Maso Capital Partners and Japan’s CBC Group in May.</p>
<p>“Our capacity to ingest data and produce deep, analytical content pairs extremely well with the workflow software developed by Equilibrium, effectively bringing together the tools ESG professionals require,” said FiscalNote founder and CEO Hwang.</p>
<p>In May, FiscalNote had acquired DC-based Fireside and Australian-based TimeBase to expand its global presence. In June, it announced the purchase of Austin-based Board.org that builds vendor-free, peer-to-peer communities.</p>
<h3>Tricor buys PT ASA Indonesia</h3>
<p>Tricor Group, a business expansion specialist in Asia, has signed an agreement to acquire PT ASA Indonesia, according to an announcement.</p>
<p>The transaction value was not disclosed.</p>
<p>Founded in 2004, PT ASA Indonesia is a leading corporate services provider focused on payroll, tax, accounting and corporate secretarial functions. Meanwhile, Tricor is one of the largest providers of corporate services in APAC, serving customers across 21 markets.</p>
<p>&#8220;This acquisition will provide local and cross-border clients access to Tricor&#8217;s global best practices and innovative solutions and service offerings,&#8221; Tricor said in the announcement.</p>
<p>Tricor has been operating in Indonesia for over 11 years. The purchase of ASA Indonesia will further enhance its presence in the country and strengthen its ability to provide payroll, accounting and tax compliance services to local and international clients operating in Indonesia and across ASEAN, it said.</p>
