GOJEK has launched two new features in Indonesia even as it announced a partnership with SingTel to offer data perks to driver partners in Singapore.
<h3>GOJEK launches GO-MALL and GO-NEWS</h3>
GOJEK is launching two new features in Indonesia &#8211; GO-MALL and GO-NEWS.
According to a statement, GOJEK is partnering Indonesian e-commerce players JD.ID and Blibli for GO-MALL, and media publication Kumparan for GO-NEWS.
GO-MALL shoppers will be able to purchase a variety of products like staples, gadgets, fashion and lifestyle products on the platform. They will also be eligible for cashback, special prices, and make payments via GO-PAY. The delivery of these goods can also be made via GO-SEND, GOJEK&#8217;s delivery service.
GOJEK users will also be able to stay up-to-date on the latest news via GO-NEWS.
GOJEK&#8217;s head of third-party platform, Sony Radhityo said: “Our internal and external data showed how the need for shopping and access to the most up-to-date information has become the main source of interest for GOJEK’s users. The two features answers these needs, and are aligned with our purpose to meet our customers’ needs in one single app.”
To date, GOJEK has 21 services and six features on its platform. It boasts over two million driver partners and millions of customers regionally.
<h3>GOJEK partners Singtel to offer data perks to driver partners</h3>
GOJEK has entered into a partnership with SingTel to offer data perks to its customers and drivers.
Both companies will begin rolling out their cross-market offerings in mobile, ride-hailing and lifestyle from May.
According to a statement, GOJEK driver partners who subscribe to a SingTel plan will enjoy data-free usage while on their GOJEK app, allowing them to save up to 2GB of data a month. GOJEK driver partners will also be eligible for a 20 per cent discount on SingTel Combo plans, complimentary caller-ID service, and preferential rates on Singtel Music and HungryGoWhere.
Singtel customers, meanwhile, will also be offered privileges on GOJEK&#8217;s ride-hailing services. GOJEK ride-hailing credits worth S$51 will be offered to new and existing customers of SingTel&#8217;s GOMO all-digital mobile plan.
Lien Choong Luen, general manager of GOJEK Singapore said: “Singaporeans are living and playing harder &#8211; whether online or offline. This is why the partnership between GOJEK and Singtel really works.”
