Grab charts road ahead in Indonesia with greater role for non-ride-hailing businesses

Verticals such as home delivery, payments, and MSME-related services, which are relatively pandemic-proof, will play a bigger role in Grab’s Indonesia business going ahead, its top executive told DealStreetAsia.

The Singapore-headquartered Grab doubled down on its on-demand parcel delivery service, GrabExpress, and grocery service, GrabMart this year, to partly offset the hit faced by its mainstay ride-hailing business when movement restrictions were imposed amid COVID-19.
