Despite the proliferation of healthtech startups in Indonesia over the last few years, only two have received significant investments to seize the opportunities in the healthcare industry, said to be worth $30 billion.

SoftBank-backed Alodokter and GOJEK-backed Halodoc have managed to raise multiple funding rounds while most of their peers have not secured capital beyond the seed stage as investors seem hesitant to place big bets on the sector.
