Taiwanese machine learning startup InfuseAI has secured a $4.3 million Series A round funding led by the iPhone manufacturer Wistron Corporation, per a company statement on Tuesday.
Taiwan-based, tech-driven global VC Hive Ventures partnering Taiwan Venture Capital Group, Silicon Valley Taiwan Investment and 500 Startups also joined the current round.
InfuseAI is gearing up to foray into the Japan market, followed by Southeast Asia.
InfuseAI, set up in 2018, offers a gamut of development and data analysis services to enterprises in fintech and manufacturing sectors. Now its flagship solution, PrimeHub is an all-in-one, on-premise machine learning (ML) platform that can help companies maximise machine learning operations (MLOps).
“As enterprises from manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and other sectors seek to scale their AI operations and model deployments, they will require a platform like InfuseAI to allow seamless collaboration between developers and data scientists,” said Hive Ventures managing partner and founder Yan Lee in the statement.
Taiwan’s market size of MLOps is valued at nearly $30 million, and the global market is expected to reach about $4 billion by 2025, it said.
