Gillian Tee, the founder and CEO of on-demand care and health services platform Homage, was inspired to set up her startup while caring for her convalescent mother in Singapore. Seeing the demand for better senior care, especially post-hospitalisation care, in the region, the former Silicon Valley startup co-founder decided to take the entrepreneurial plunge again.
Homage, which was launched in 2016, is now present in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. It has secured financing from investors, including Temasek-owned Sheares Healthcare, East Ventures, SeedPlus, Golden Gate Ventures, and HealthXCapital.
