India: IFC proposes $15m investment in Prime Venture’s latest VC fund

International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed a $15 million equity investment in the latest venture capital fund of Indian early-stage venture investor Prime Venture Partners, according to a disclosure.

Aside from the proposed investment into Seabright IV, IFC also discloses interest in a co-investment envelope of up to $15 million to invest alongside the fund, which focuses primarily on seed to Series A stage investments in Indian technology-enabled companies.
