India: IFC proposes upto $200m investment in Tata Capital's arms

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed to invest a total of upto $200 million in two subsidiaries of India’s financial and investment service provider Tata Capital.

In separate disclosures, IFC said it is considering an up to Rs1,125 crore ($150 million) investment in Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited (TCHFL), a housing finance company that focuses on mortgage and residential housing construction finance.
