Event tech startup Hubilo has raised angel funding while tech firm Servify has closed its pre-Series A round.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Event tech startup Hubilo raises angel funding</h3>
Event tech startup <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/hubilo" target="_blank">Hubilo</a> has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from 12 angel investors led by Girish Mathrubootham, founder of cloud-based customer support platform <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/freshdesk" target="_blank">Freshdesk</a>.
Other investors in the round include VC Karthic, Miten Mehta, Umasankar Nistala, Rakesh Patel, Akash Bhavsar, Jeevanandhan Rajagopal, Vikas Chadha, Ameet Rughani, Samad Makani, Avinash Raheja and Ashish Nanda.
The Ahmedabad-based startup plans to use the funds to strengthen its technology platform, sales and marketing.
&#8220;We have completed first round of investment and out of total investment we will use 40 per cent on technology up gradation, 35 per cent on sales and marketing setup and rest of the fund will be used for incurring administrative costs,&#8221; Vaibhav Jain, co-founder and chief executive officer of Hubilo said.
Hubilo, which has been operational since February, provides integrated end-to-end online solutions in the event technology space by providing a dedicated website , an event app, social media posts, email marketing and registration, and networking platforms for events. This helps event organisers create, promote, manage and analyse events.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Servify closes pre-Series A round led by Blume Ventures, Beenext</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/servify" target="_blank">Servify</a>, a personal device management platform has raised an undisclosed amount of funding as part of pre-Series A round led by <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/blume-ventures" target="_blank">Blume Ventures</a> and <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/beenext" target="_blank">Beenext</a>.
Existing investors including Germany-based <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/barkawi" target="_blank">Barkawi Holdings GmbH</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/tm-service-technology" target="_blank">TM Service Technology Holdings Gmbh</a> and Sreevathsa Prabhakar, Founder of Servify also participated in the round.
&#8220;The fund raise will help in further enhancing our product, service and technology offerings,” said Sreevathsa Prabhakar, Founder &amp; CEO of Servify.
In April, the Mumbai-based company had announced that it had raised funding from Blume Ventures, Germany’s Barkawi Holdings GmbH and TM Service Technology Holdings GmbH.
“We have doubled our user base recently and now manage over half a million devices on our platform. A major part of this investment will be deployed in aggressively building our product, engineering and business teams. We are also building a state-of-the-art centralized servicie and repair facility in Mumbai and have already received authorization from multiple brands for this. The facility is expected to go live in the first week of December.” added Pravin Jadhav, Chief Product &amp; Growth Officer at Servify.
