Home rental startup FastFox has received $4.6 million from Lightspeed India Partners and others while DataWeave has raised funding from Japan’s FreakOut Group.

FastFox gets $4.6m from Lightspeed India Partners

FastFox, a home rental startup in Gurgaon, has raised Rs 30 crore ($4.6 million) in a Series A round from Lighspeed India Partners, Blume Ventures and CyberAgent Ventures.

The startup will use the proceeds to improve technology, develop service delivery model and expand its team, according to an Economic Times report.

FastFox is planning to expand to Noida, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai within a year.

DataWeave receives funding from Japan’s FreakOut Group

DataWeave has received an undisclosed amount of series-A funding led by Japan’s ad tech company FreakOut Group.

The Japanese company has acquired a strategic stake in DataWeave and other investors like WaterBridge Ventures, a couple of other venture capital firms in India and Singapore and unnamed angel investors also participated in the round along with existing investor Blume Ventures, The Economic Times reported.

DataWeave plans to utilise the proceeds to expand sales, marketing and customer success initiatives, especially in North America.
