Food-tech startup MonkeyBox has raised a pre-Series A funding from Blume Ventures and others even as SaaS startup IPHawk has received a funding.

<a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=MonkeyBox" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MonkeyBox</a>, a Bangalore-based foodtech startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of pre-Series A funding from <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Blume+Ventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Blume Ventures</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=NB+Ventures\" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">NB Ventures</a>, Nspira and angel investors.
It will use the money for expansion and future marketing campaigns, Inc42 <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://inc42.com/buzz/foodtech-monkeybox-blume-ventures/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">reported</a>.
&#8220;MonkeyBox has been providing nutritious, fresh and tasty food for school kids delivered at schools that results in a balanced diet for kids while they relish tasty food. Their very high subscriptions are an indication of parents’ preference for this as a dependable alternative to home-cooked food,&#8221; said Ashish Fafadia, CFO at Blume Ventures.
Founded in October 2015 by Sanjay Rao and Sandeep KN, MonkeyBox provides healthy vegetarian meals designed by nutritionists.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">SaaS startup IPHawk raises funding</h3>
SaaS startup IPHawk has received a funding at The TiE Mumbai Smashup 7.0 Spot Funding Pitch.
Sanjay Mehta, Dewang Narella of the TiE Angels Mumbai charter invested in the startup, according to an Inc42 <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://inc42.com/buzz/mumbai-startup-iphawk-tie-mumbai-smashup/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">article</a>.
The event was for a spot funding wherein six shortlisted startups pitched for a grand prize of $38.7K (INR 25 Lakhs) per startup.
The other five startups were Shepherd For Men, FinPeace, Genecorp.in, Party Hard Drivers (PHD) and CNote.
IPHawk aims at monitoring, detecting and responding trademark infringement of companies and brands. Its tie mumbai smashup-iphawkAI algorithm aims to be a legal first-responder for those clients with an infringed trademark. The pricing plans for the startup’s services begin at $100/year.
