India: JSW Ventures plans 4 more deals, may seek external backing for second fund

JSW Ventures, the venture capital arm of Indian conglomerate JSW Group, is looking to invest in four more companies in the next one year through its Rs 100-crore ($15-million) early-stage investment fund.

JSW Ventures has invested in four companies to date including regional mobile operating system Indus OS, SaaS-based solutions provider to restaurants LimeTray; beauty products e-tailer Purplle; and re-furbished and pre-owned goods marketplace Overcart.
