India: PE firm Everstone acquires controlling stake in auto components maker SJS for $54m

Private equity player Everstone Capital has acquired a controlling stake of over 51 per cent in domestic auto components maker SJS Enterprises for about $54 million (Rs 350 crore), said a report in The Economic Times.

The stake was acquired by Everstone from existing investors in SJS including American specialty printing company Serigraph and the three owners of the Bengaluru-based auto components maker – S Sivakumar, KA Joseph and V Srinivasan.
