SEAF India Investment Advisors (SIIA) is going to invest between $20 million and $25 million in startups in the agri-business sector by the end of the financial year.
SIIA has used 85 per cent of its first India Agribusiness Fund, said managing director Hemendra Mathur, in a chat with DEALSTREETASIA. The firm is in talks to close one more investment from that fund, and then will utilise the second for which it raised $150 million from international and domestic investors.
