More Indonesian payment players will tackle problems such as onboarding MSMEs

Indonesia will see more payments players solving niche problems, such as expanding the acceptance of digital payments among MSMEs, in the next three years,  said panelists at the Indonesia PE-VC Summit.

Jaygan Fu Ponnudurai, chief executive officer of Indonesia’s first fintech unicorn OVO, said many new startups have begun popping up to solve specific pain points in the payments industry, such as how to enable small business owners to accept all payments methods.
