Indonesian pawnshop firm Pegadaian sets aside $35m to invest in fintech startups

Indonesia’s state-owned pawnshop Pegadaian plans to set aside a sum of Rp 500 billion ($35.3 million) to invest in three to five fintech companies in the fourth quarter this year, a top executive told reporters on Monday.
