Several VC funds exceed initial targets as global LPs spot big promise in Indonesia

In a sign of increased investor interest in the country, several Indonesian venture capital (VC) firms have exceeded their initial fundraising targets and amassed more capital than initially planned.

Jakarta-based early-stage investor AC Ventures recently upsized its third fund and closed it at $205 million. The amount that the firm raked in was significantly higher than its initial $80 million target.
