Japan-based private equity firm Aspirant Group along with Daiwa PI Partners are acquiring 100% stake of UACJ Copper Tube Corporation – a copper tubing subsidiary of UACJ Corporation – for JPY 24 billion ($223 million), according to a stock exchange filing.
The stake acquisition will be executed through a share transfer on 30 September 2019 by Toyokawa Holdings. UACJ Copper Tube will start operating its business under its new shareholder on 1 October 2019.
