J-Ventures, the venture capital arm of Thai listed mobile retailer Jaymart Pcl (JMART), is targeting to raise $20 million via an initial coin offering (ICO), marking the first such fundraising initiative by a public company in the country.
According to a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, J-Ventures plans to offer 100 million JFin digital tokens in the upcoming ICO at the price of $0.20 each. It also plans to keep another 200 million tokens for use later to raise funds for expansion or acquisitions.
