Li Ka-Shing’s Horizons Ventures leads $15m funding in German startup Friendsurance

Horizons Ventures, a private investment arm of Hong Kong business magnate Li Ka-Shing, has pumped in $15 million in its second investment round in German insurance technology startup Friendsurance.

Joined in by other strategic investors and business angels from Asia and the US, the latest funding round is claimed to be the biggest investment in the peer-to-peer (P2P) startup insurance segment.
