India’s Lightbox Ventures makes final close of third fund at $209m

Lightbox Ventures, a Mumbai-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage consumer technology businesses in India, has made a final close of its third fund at $209.4 million, according to an SEC filing.

The third fund – Lightbox Ventures III – secured commitments from 28 limited partners. It exceeded the $200-million target set when the fund was launched in September 2018. It made an initial close last year at $178 million.
