KDDI invests in Mad Street Den
KDDI Corporation has invested an undisclosed amount in Mad Street Den (MSD) through KDDI Open Innovation Fund 2, managed by Global Brain. MSD provides Vue.AI, which is a one-stop artificial intelligence and image recognition platform for apparel retailers. Vue.ai offers products such as data classification and catalog data management with the aim of improving product discovery, searchability, and reducing operational costs. The startup plans to use the funds to improve their AI capabilities and grow their sales and marketing workforce.
